X-CUSTOM HPA SETUP

The difference shows
under pressure.

We won’t tell you HPA is for everyone. But if you’re going into it, your first setup shouldn’t be a random mix of parts.

ANSWERING THE QUESTION WE GET MOST OFTEN

A similar look proves nothing.
Pressure and chrono data show the difference.

“Wait… isn’t this just the same AliExpress regulator with a different logo?”

We understand the question. The airsoft market is full of products that look similar in photos — and sometimes they really are only different by logo. That’s why we don’t want you to trust us based on a name, color, or marketing claim. With a regulator, what matters is different: output stability, behavior after the shot, manufacturing tolerance, seals, service, and real chrono numbers. Below, we’re not comparing impressions. We’re comparing measurable differences.

TESTED LOW-COST REGULATOR

Marketplace HPA regulator

Generic low-cost regulator · typical price $29–45

IN 1 PÍST OUT higher output spread LOW-COST CONSTRUCTION
  • Unknown manufacturing tolerance unit-to-unit variance can matter more than what you see in photos
  • Unknown seals / materials in a pressure system, the important details are the ones you won’t see in a product photo
  • No published shot string without a shot series, you don’t know how the regulator holds output in real use
  • Measured deviation: ±15 FPS on the tested unit under comparable conditions
  • No local support if there’s a problem, you solve it yourself or through an overseas marketplace
XELTA REGULATOR²

X-Custom przetestowany design

IN P1 P2 OUT stable output spread TESTED UNIT BY UNIT
  • Dual-piston system designed for a more stable response to pressure updates during shooting
  • Modern PU seals material chosen for pressure application, repeatability, and long-term stability
  • Tested unit by unit each regulator undergoes inspection before shipping
  • Measured deviation: ±1.4 FPS consistency measured on a 15-shot string under listed conditions
  • Local warranty and support support directly from X-Custom, not an anonymous marketplace

Why a similar shape doesn’t mean the same regulator?

01

A photo shows shape. Not performance.

Two regulators can look similar at first glance. But that says nothing about tolerances, seals, piston response, output stability, or pre-shipping inspection. With HPA, the difference shows only under pressure.

02

A regulator isn’t judged by its logo.

It is judged by how it holds output in a series of shots, how fast it recovers under load, and if the result repeats unit by unit. That’s why at XELTA we don’t just show design. We show chrono data, test conditions, and service background.

03

We show a test, not just a claim.

Writing “stable performance” is not enough. That’s why we provide concrete measurements: 15 shots, FPS deviation, and comparison with a tested low-cost regulator. If the difference is real, it must be visible in data — not just marketing.

Proof must be stronger than a claim.

If the difference were only in a logo, we wouldn’t show measurements. That’s why at XELTA we don’t argue with looks alone. We show construction, test conditions, chrono data, and the service backing the regulator.

CHRONO TEST · 5 REGULATORS · 15 SHOTS

We don’t care about the best shot. We care about the full string.

One chrono shot can look good on almost any regulator. The real difference shows when you measure the full string: the lowest value, the highest value, and the spread between them. That’s why we took 5 HPA regulators and measured each the same way — 15 consecutive shots, same 0.20 g BBs, same Acetech AC6000 chronograph, and the same downstream setup.

Gap between the slowest and fastest shot

The number below shows FPS spread: the difference between the lowest and highest FPS reading in one 15-shot string. A lower spread means the regulator held output more repeatably — not just in one “good-looking” shot.

FPS spread chart: XELTA 1.4 FPS, Wolverine 4.0 FPS, EPES 10.4 FPS, Aliexpress 15.2 FPS, Balystik 21.7 FPS

No cherry-picking. The full string.

Every regulator got the same test. We don’t select one best shot — we show how it held output across the full 15-shot string.

  1. X-CUSTOM
XELTA Regulator² chronograph — 15 shots, 1.4 FPS spread
XELTA Regulator² 1.4 FPS spread Lowest measured spread in this 15-shot string.
  2. Wolverine STORM Cat. 5 chronograph — 15 shots, 4.0 FPS spread
Wolverine STORM Cat. 5 4.0 FPS spread Premium US regulator. In this string, it showed 2.9× the spread of XELTA.
  3. EPES Max Flow chronograph — 15 shots, 10.4 FPS spread
EPES Max Flow 10.4 FPS spread In this string, it showed 7.4× the spread of XELTA.
  4. Low-cost marketplace regulator chronograph — 15 shots, 15.2 FPS spread
Low-cost marketplace regulator 15.2 FPS spread A similar look in photos does not mean the same chrono output. In this string, it showed 10.9× the spread of XELTA.
  5. Balystik HPR800C chronograph — 15 shots, 21.7 FPS spread
Balystik HPR800C 21.7 FPS spread Highest spread in this comparison: 15.5× higher than XELTA.

One good chrono shot tells you almost nothing. A full 15-shot string starts showing whether the regulator holds pressure repeatedly — or only occasionally hits a nice number.

Test conditions: 6 mm 0.20 g BBs · ambient 21 °C · HPA tank filled to 3000 PSI · same regulator output pressure set across all regulators · 15 consecutive shots per regulator · identical downstream setup · Acetech AC6000 chronograph · result calculated as the difference between the lowest and highest FPS value in the string.

SERVICE PROTOCOL, NOT AN EMPTY WARRANTY

A warranty is not a promise.
It is a service process.

The word “warranty” alone is not enough today. Almost everyone uses it. What matters is what happens when the regulator actually starts causing problems.

If something happens — we don’t look for an excuse. We look for the cause.

With X-Custom, you have one responsible point. You send us the issue, we run a precise diagnosis, and if a regulator fault under normal use is confirmed, we handle repair or replacement immediately.

What the service process looks like

  1. 01

    Send the issue as data

Order number, short description, and ideally a video: gauge pressure, where air is leaking, what happens after a shot, and how the regulator behaves in the real setup.

  2. 02

    Diagnosis instead of guessing

We check pressure, seals, regulator function, post-shot behavior, and possible signs of damage. The goal is not to reject the claim. The goal is to find the real cause.

  3. 03

    Repair or replacement after inspection

This is followed by immediate troubleshooting or dispatch of a new unit. We only send back a regulator that has passed our complete 100% functional inspection again.

What is stronger than a warranty written on a page?

OPTION WHAT YOU GET WHAT IT MEANS IN PRACTICE
X-Custom One responsible point diagnosis · local service · repair or replacement based on findings
Overseas brand standard process often involves retailer handling, language, shipping, and longer waiting
Marketplace / low-cost purchase uncertain service low price at the start, but after-purchase problems are often yours to solve
Used regulator unknown history you don’t know how it was used, opened, serviced, or damaged
Random parts mix no single responsible point when something fails, you don’t know if it’s the regulator, hose, fitting, or the whole setup

Lifetime warranty is not the reason to trust us. It is the result of testing, knowing, and servicing the regulator ourselves. Warranty by itself proves nothing — what matters is the concrete process behind it.

HPA SYSTEM ANATOMY

Not a box of parts.
A system where every piece has a job.

With HPA, it’s not enough to buy separate parts and hope they work together. The regulator, hose, tank, and filling method affect each other. That’s why the bundle is built as a system — not a random cart of parts.

01

XELTA Regulator²

  • Job in the system: hold stable output so the setup doesn’t behave differently from string to string
  • 1.4 FPS spread in a 15-shot test — the gap between the slowest and fastest shot in our test string
  • Adjustable output pressure — for tuning based on the gun, field limit, and HPA system used
  • Functional check before shipping — we don’t ship the regulator without inspection
02

X-Hose⁵

  • Job in the system: route air without the hose limiting you during play
  • Tested under real HPA pressure — because a hose isn’t judged in your hand without pressure
  • 110 cm length — a practical length for routing through gear
  • Multiple color options — main hose, backup hose, or second loadout
03

HPA Tank

  • Job in the system: provide the air source for the whole setup
  • 3000 PSI working capacity — a common standard for airsoft HPA use
  • Compact size for gear — designed to make sense in a real loadout
  • Protective cover — helps protect the tank during transport and play
04

Hand Pump

  • Job in the system: give you a filling option without a compressor or field fill station
  • Your own filling option — ideal if you don’t have regular access to a compressor
  • Integrated gauge — pressure control during filling
  • Honestly: a pump is not a compressor. Filling takes time and effort, but it gives you independence
PLUG & PLAY WITHOUT GUESSING

Don’t worry about what’s missing. Just choose whether you need the pump.

The 3-in-1 bundle is for players who already have a filling option. The 4-in-1 bundle is for players who want a complete start, including their own pump. In both cases, you get a core HPA system that makes sense as a whole: tank, regulator, and hose designed to work together from the first connection.

1 decision: 3-in-1 with filling / 4-in-1 with pump
3 core parts: tank + regulator + hose
+1 pump with 4-in-1 for independent filling

What this means in real play

Stable output

The chrono doesn’t care how the regulator looks. It cares how it holds output across a shot string.

A hose you should feel as little as possible

In HPA, the hose is the part of the setup you feel with every movement through your gear.

One system, one responsible point

If something needs solving, you’re not dealing with five sellers and five different answers.

Clear 3-in-1 / 4-in-1 choice

Have filling access? 3-in-1 makes sense. No filling access? Choose 4-in-1 with the pump.

ANSWERS BEFORE ORDERING

The most common questions that decide between 3-in-1 and 4-in-1.

If you already know you want to move into HPA, this is where we answer the practical questions: compatibility, filling, the pump, preorder, service, and what actually comes in the box.

Should I choose the 3-in-1 or 4-in-1 bundle?

It depends on one thing: do you have a way to fill your HPA tank?

If yes, the 3-in-1 bundle makes sense. You get the core HPA system: tank, XELTA Regulator², and X-HOSE⁵.

If you don’t have a compressor, field filling, or another air source, choose the 4-in-1 bundle. It adds the hand pump, so you can start without relying on external filling.

Simple: have filling access = 3-in-1. No filling access = 4-in-1.

Why is this a preorder and not a normal stock sale?

Because the anniversary series is not just a discount on random stock. We want to prepare bundles based on real demand: hose variants, regulators, tanks, and pumps for the 4-in-1.

Preorder lets us plan production, testing, and assembly better, instead of selling out a few pieces quickly and leaving the rest of the players waiting without a clear timeline.

You reserve the anniversary conditions. We prepare a system that makes sense as a whole.

What exactly do I get during the 3rd anniversary event?

During the 3rd anniversary event, you get the anniversary site discount and with an HPA bundle, you also get a second X-HOSE⁵ of your choice for free.

The second hose is not a random free gift. In HPA, the hose is the part of the setup you feel with every movement. You can use the second one as a backup, a different color, or for a second loadout.

That is why it makes more sense with the anniversary bundle than a random item thrown into the box.

Will the X-Custom bundle work with my HPA replica?

In most common HPA setups, yes. XELTA Regulator² has adjustable output pressure and X-HOSE⁵ uses a common airsoft QD standard.

But we don’t want to guess blindly. If you have a non-standard setup, send us a photo of the connection or the system name before ordering and we’ll check compatibility.

Is the pump a replacement for a compressor?

Honestly: not in convenience. A pump takes time and physical effort. Its main benefit is not comfort, but independence.

If you have regular access to a compressor or field filling, the 3-in-1 is probably enough. If you don’t, the 4-in-1 with the pump gives you a way to start without extra equipment.

Why do you focus so much on the hose in HPA?

Because the hose is not just an accessory. It is the part of the setup you feel with every movement.

Without pressure, almost any hose can feel soft. The difference shows only in use — under pressure, routed through gear, and connected to the gun.

That is why the second X-HOSE⁵ in this event is a stronger bonus than a random free gift.

What does FPS spread mean in the chrono test?

FPS spread is the difference between the lowest and highest FPS reading in one string.

It is not about one best shot, but the full 15-shot string. A lower spread means the regulator held output more repeatably.

That is why the test doesn’t show just one good-looking display number, but the result of the full string.

How does the lifetime warranty work in practice?

We don’t treat it as a slogan. We treat it as a service process.

If a problem appears, send us the order number, description, and ideally a video. We run a diagnosis and look for the cause.

If a regulator fault under normal use is confirmed, we handle repair or replacement. If it is mechanical damage or use outside specification, we will tell you directly and suggest the next step.

Isn’t it just the same regulator with a different logo?

We understand the question. With HPA regulators, a similar shape in photos can be confusing.

That is why we don’t say “trust us based on looks.” We show the design, service process, and most importantly, the chrono test.

If the only difference was the logo, it wouldn’t make sense to show 15-shot spread, service process, and pre-shipping inspection.

When will the preorder ship?

The anniversary preorder is not a normal stock order. The shipping date will be shown directly in the event / product based on the current production and assembly batch.

If the product is in stock, we ship according to normal dispatch times. If it is in preorder, you reserve the anniversary conditions and we ship after inspection and assembly are complete.
